Today, Diario Financiero newspaper features an analysis by our Director of Tax Controversy Resolution, Patricio Casas, regarding the deferred process for the reappraisal of residential properties. In addition to outlining the most relevant changes introduced by the new resolution, Patricio Casas questions the methodological shift, noting that it could be viewed positively if accompanied by an equivalent or greater strengthening of public information and of the technical rationale behind homogeneous areas, in order to ‘reduce the opacity of a system that has repeatedly been the subject of criticism.’
